ABOUT PADRAIC
While training as a primary teacher Padraic became entranced by theatre and drama at training college. On completing probation as a teacher he became a full time actor with Team Educational Theatre Company and Trapdoor Theatre Company, bringing theatre to schools and venues all over Ireland. At the same time he trained in Stanislavski at the Focus Theatre under Deirdre O Connell. However, life intervened and he pursued a career as a teacher. An experience at an amphitheatre in Paphos , Cyprus ,prompted a gradual
enagement with performing again. Following retirement, Padraic undertook the full training in the Meisner Technique offered by Momentum Acting Studio under Robert Byrne and Liza Michael .Further training in Voice and Acting followed under Helena Walsh.
